The short version

We only collect the information you choose to send us through our forms or by email, we use it only to reply to you and manage your enquiry, and we never sell it. That's the whole idea. The detail below is there because the law (UK GDPR) asks us to spell it out.

Who we are

This website is operated by LMF Design Ltd (Company No. 16875019), based in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK. For anything about your data, email info@lmfdesign.co.uk. We are the "data controller" for the information described here.

What we collect, and why

When you use a form on this site (Contact, or the Launchpad inventor/investor forms), we collect the details you enter:

• Your name, so we know who we're talking to.
• Your email address, so we can reply.
• Your phone number, only if you choose to give it (it's optional).
• Your message, whatever you'd like to tell us about your project or idea.

We use this solely to respond to you, discuss your enquiry, and keep track of it for follow-up. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, and taking steps at your request before entering into a possible contract.

We do not use your details for marketing unless you separately ask us to.

Where your information goes

• Form submissions are delivered to our inbox by Resend (our email-sending provider).
• Our email is hosted by our website/email host.
• We may keep a record of your enquiry in a spreadsheet or customer-management tool so we can follow up properly.
• Our website is hosted by Vercel.

These providers process data on our behalf. We share your information with them only so the website and our email can function, never for them to use for their own purposes, and we don't sell your data to anyone.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry information for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you get back in touch. If you'd like us to delete your information, just ask.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to: see the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Email info@lmfdesign.co.uk and we'll help. You also have the right to complain to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
